April, 2006, SNB-REACT started its activities in the Balkan countries, Macedonia and Serbia to start with. The SNB-REACT branch office is based in Skopje.

The focus of our activities is on customs protection. With the Macedonian customs we entered into an agreement which included the provision of digital cameras, training, filing applications and follow up customs detentions. The simplified procedure is being applied in Macedonia, and we are able to follow up the majority of cases without interference of the court. In Serbia most cases are also handled without court procedure. Further legal support is provided by a partner law firm. SNB-REACT concluded favorable fees for its members with this law firm. Activities have also been initiated in neighboring countries Albania and Montenegro.

Paralegals in the Skopje office are available to assist with the identification of products, drafting and filing of affidavits, drafting and filing of criminal complaints and the preparation and submission of civil summon letters.

The service we provide our members is:
• File customs application (included in the membership fee);
• organization of customs training sessions (included in the membership fee);
• market monitoring;
• organizing market raids
• organize information meetings for police and customs (covered by the membership fee);
• file complaints (civil/criminal) on behalf of members;
• organize inspections at events;
• organize the storage, transportation and destruction of counterfeit products.
