INTERNET MONITORING

Counterfeit goods are increasingly sold through the Internet.
SNB-REACT believes it is in a good position to deal with this problem effectively on behalf of its members. With its network of units in The Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Baltic States, Balkan, Turkey and partners worldwide, SNB-REACT is able to monitor the Internet for counterfeit products at relatively low costs for a large number of brands and is able to take subsequent action. The availability of an existing operational team to follow-up Internet cases is a great advantage of the REACT network: it allows us to combine removal of online advertisements with the investigation of addresses connected to these advertisements and also to take legal action by its lawyers.

The Internet Monitoring Program is a customized service that can be tailored to the individual needs of the members.

We have designed the SNB-REACT WebCrawler, our very own software, to:

- Monitor, administrate, remove and report advertisements
- Connected to eBay and Marktplaats. This will be extended with   other websites in the near future;
- Contains images for rapid review
- Generates database: stores infringing listings and sellers for legal files (black listed sellers, blocked sellers etc.)
- Software is connected to our regular database for follow-up
 (C&D-letters, test purchases, investigation)
- Extra features like easy PIA-request and sorting ads by volume of seller
- Online report: to be viewed 24/7 via our website www.snbreact.org


For the reporting of advertisements and cases to the users of the
service, SNB-REACT has set up a sophisticated Intranet network. Through e-mail communication and consultation online with a password, members can direct the actions of SNB-REACT team and stay fully updated on all developments.


Annual fixed fee for this program is € 500.

An administrative fee of € 1,- per removed advertisement will be charged (with cap € 12.500).
