SNB-REACT has a liaison office in Istanbul. The team consists of investigators/paralegal and supported by a lawyer fully at the disposal of REACT members

 Our services in Turkey are:

On an operational level
a) Customs: filing of application and follow up of notifications from customs (including the affidavits/complaints)
b) Follow up of leads from foreign cases (customs, police and/or civil):
- desk research
- physical inquiry
- preparation of complaints
- and/or cease and desist letters
c) Initiate and follow up cases from within Turkey
- own inquiries
- request by Prosecutors/police: act as a sort of central point of
  contact for brands owners
- preparation of complaints
- and/or cease and desist letters
d) Service of lawyer to file and follow up formal complaint:
negotiations for settlement
f) organization of joint raid at Grand Bazaar: to be followed by
approach with market maintenance to discuss conditions of use/liability
as a service provider

Internet Monitoring
Follow up of important cases discovered by REACT IMP team: desk
research and test purchases and further investigations
Prepare for complaints and or write cease and desist letters

Lobbying/Training

a) organizing /providing identification training with and on behalf of
rights owners. In conjunction with other organization like Brand
Protection Group, WCO, WIPO, UNECE, USPTO, Interpol ....

b) lobbying for full implementation of simplified procedure / central
customs application
In police matters: abandon sample requirement
