Greece

In order to provide its members a facility to follow up standard type of cases in European countries where SNB-REACT has no operational facilities, it has concluded agreements with specialised IP lawfirms. Purpose of these agreements are to allow members a consistent approach to follow up actions initiated by customs or police officers. Taking into account budgetary constraints of our members, we agreed on fixed fees set at a relatively low level.

In Greece it has such an understanding with Michalis Kosmopoulos, a specialized IP lawyer.
Customs actions can be followed up by Kosmopoulos for a rate of €
350 for providing the authorities with expert opinion, reporting the case and following the simplified proceedings (sending digital
photos and scanned official list of the seized goods).

SNB REACT conducts market monitoring in Greece. The legal follow up of these actions can be done in different ways;
- Cease and desist letters can be send out for a rate of € 250
- For criminal proceedings the rate has to be decided case by case
  depending on the type of procedure to be followed.
